I’ll have two paintings in the Tiny Paintings show at the Neiley Harris Studio & Gallery in Freeport from November 15 until December 13, 2024. I showed in my first Tiny Paintings show here this past Summer and there was some great work by local artists, so I am expecting this to be a fun show too!
This exhibit, Inside Vision: An Outside Exhibition of Inside Art, which consisted of visual art and poetry, opened on June 7th. Throughout its duration, it brought in people already familiar with this touring exhibition or the work of the Maine Prisoner Advocacy Coalition, as well as people who saw an exhibition like this for the first time. The work ranged from whimsical to heavy-hitting, all of it leading to deep discussion, strong emotions, and a bursting of the bubble we were meant to be kept in.
